Privacy for placement aptitude

Optional advertising measurement is off until you allow it separately. Declining does not restrict learning or purchases. When enabled, Meta Pixel can receive your IP address, browser information and cookies, a clean public-page visit, and an opaque event identifier for a newly created account or a verified INR 499 aptitude purchase. We do not explicitly send your email, phone, name, sign-in code, exam answers or private result links to Meta. Browser tracking is not anonymous. If you allow measurement, the Meta click identifier in an ad link may also be used to attribute a registration or purchase to that ad. Manage advertising choice in the learning app to withdraw; withdrawal stops future app dispatch and revokes pending receipts, but cannot undo data already received by Meta. Anonymous consent preferences expire after 30 days; private pending delivery receipts expire after seven days and are cleaned when the preference service is used. The INR price and event identifier support deduplication; handing an event to the browser SDK is not proof that Meta received it.

Your verified email connects your purchases and exam history. A mobile number you provide is saved as a contact detail and does not by itself verify WhatsApp, grant learning access or give marketing consent. Exam answers, scores, content version, submission time and attempt details are saved to your account. Practice choices and reading checkmarks may be stored in your browser for recovery. Welcome preferences (your chosen name, goal, starting level and daily study time) stay in this browser and do not grant purchases or exam access.

Uploaded PDFs are read in your browser and are not sent to PrepOff or an AI provider. They are personal practice material and cannot produce a public assessment record.

Assessment results are private by default. When you explicitly create a result link, your chosen display name, score, date, bank version and attempt number are visible to anyone with the link. Your email and individual answers are not included. Revoke the link from My results at any time. People who already copied it may retain their own copy.

The current learning product introduces no personal cloud document-storage bucket: study files and practice backups stay on your device. Authentication, purchases/refunds and the current server-scored exam require the operational records described here. Historical records are not automatically deleted by this update. Payments are handled by Razorpay. PrepOff stores order and payment identifiers, payment status and the purchased product, not your card number. Email sign-in uses the configured email delivery provider.

Downloaded practice files include questions, answer keys and explanations for your own study. They work on your device and their progress backups contain question IDs and your choices. Clearing browser data, moving a file or changing devices can affect saved progress; export a backup if you want to preserve it.

New official exam attempts require your consent to a working camera preview, full-screen mode and the displayed exam rules. The camera preview stays on your device; PrepOff does not record or upload video or audio for these checks. Limited camera, browser, connection and exam-session events are saved with the attempt. These signals do not verify identity, perform biometric matching or establish that misconduct occurred. Earlier attempts retain the monitoring mode recorded when they started.

Deleting an exam result does not reset its start quota, assigned paper or attempt counter. Retake assignment and request receipts are kept separately to prevent a deleted result from resetting the cycle. Contact support for account-erasure requests, including these associated records.

New exam results are private by default. An optional result link expires after seven days and can be revoked earlier. Exam attempt records have a 30-day retention period; the assigned paper, versioned attempt counter and start receipts persist separately for the account and exam version until full account erasure. Account deletion purges these associated records. Downloaded files and independently retained device or backup copies remain outside the server’s deletion controls.

Feedback and contact messages are stored for private administrator handling, together with their category, an optional reply email, submission time and processing status. They leave the support inbox after 90 days; expired records are removed in bounded batches when the support service is used. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, card details or sensitive documents. Reply email ownership is not verified and does not give marketing consent. The form does not automatically send an email; use the displayed support address if you want to email directly.
